Eligibility and Verification:
By creating and using an account, the user attests that they are a certified and/or licensed healthcare professional (such as a physician, PA, NP, nurse, or paramedic) or are in training to become a certified and/or licensed healthcare professional (such as a medical or nursing student).  They further attest that they have provided complete and accurate information that reflects such status.  Certain information is required to be provided with initial registration.  If it is not provided, and the identity provided cannot be verified, this will result in unenrollment from any active or past registrations.  Practical POCUS reserves the right to contact any such user and/or their employer or school to verify their eligibility.  If such information is not provided to Practical POCUS, this user acknowledges that their account may be deleted and/or restricted.  Furthermore, they will not be eligible for a full or partial refund.

Cancellation and Refund Policy:
Cancellations must be submitted and received in writing via email ([email protected]) 60 days prior to the date of the course to be eligible.  A minimum cancellation fee of 25% of the course fee paid will be charged.  Any cancellations made less than 60 days but greater than 30 days before the date of the course will receive a refund of 50% of the course fee paid.  There will be no refunds given less than 30 days in advance.  No refunds will be made of physical products such as ultrasound machines unless approved by the appropriate vendor.  By registering for a course, you accept the cancellation policy and understand that it may change without notice.

Medical:
As stated above, Practical POCUS LLC has attempted to provide the most accurate and reliable information possible.  The information provided on the website, media, and in courses is HIPAA compliant.  All live models and any participants allowing themselves to be evaluated by ultrasound understand that some portions of the exam may involve sensitive portions of their body.  They understand that every effort is made to prevent any form of harassment including sexual harassment, but that no guarantee can be made such will not occur.  Therefore, at any point they reserve the right to stop further examination.  All live models and participants understand that a previously undiagnosed finding may be discovered in the exam process.  If such a finding is made, it is vital that the person have appropriate follow up for further evaluation.  By participating in such a role, live models and participants allowing themselves to be evaluated by ultrasound accept these terms.

Interpretation:
The  validity, interpretation, and effect of any agreements made shall be under the law of the State of Missouri.  All actions arising directly or indirectly as a result of or consequence of any agreements shall be instituted and litigated only in courts in Crawford County, Missouri.  Any provision of an agreement found to be invalid or unenforceable shall have no effect on the validity of the rest of this agreement.
